Welcome to our first blog post! We’ve been open four months now (I know! we can’t quite believe it either) so we thought this first post should be about letting everyone know how things are going, what’s been happening + what we have planned for the coming months. It’s been a crazy busy few months + we feel like we are starting to settle into the community. We are starting to see lots of familiar faces from people who visit daily for a caffeine fix to others who pop in for a lazy weekend brunch.
Over the last four months we have hosted some brilliant groups – Rowan mums coffee morning, mums from Claygate Primary, a Macmillan coffee morning and a Holy Trinity Church staff leaving breakfast – We’ve more booked in for the coming months so if you would like to host your event with us please pop in to discuss. Whilst we are on the subject we also are available for private hire on the evenings we are closed (pop in for a chat to find out more).
We hope you agree that we have a lovely team. Some of which have now left us to return to university + some who are staying with us for the foreseeable. Many of you will recognise Andy our manager so if you ever need to discuss anything with him please feel free!
Now the autumn has officially set in we are excited to see a new season in Claygate (especially our first Claygate Christmas lights). There are lots of seasonal inspired goodies on the way so keep tuned…
Like with any new business we are constantly learning and making tweaks as we go but we just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your support over our first few months. It means the world to us so thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we hope to see you soon.
